The Mid Island Radio
Association is located in the area known as Oceanside
on the east coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, in the
vicinity of Parksville and Qualicum Beach.
M.I.R.A.'s
activities range from social, technological, public service and
education to just plain fun.
The Oceanside Radio Communications
Association (ORCA) was dissolved in 2007 and ORCA's members were
welcomed into the MIRA club. ORCA'a public service work is being carried
on by MIRA.
