PSK 31 is an RRTY like mode of amateur radio communications that, through the power of digital filtering, permits keyboard to keyboard QSo's at about 50wpm in a bandwidth of 31.5 hz.

In effect, one can carry on 20 keyboard conversations in the space occupied by one single sideband exchange.
